Short Interview with a Montreal Activist
Objective: Create a short interview production applying techniques learned in class.
Topic: An insightful interview exploring the relationship between environmental degradation and capitalism.
Equipment: Lumix Camera + IPhone 11 Pro + Shotgun Mic
Process:
I stumbled across this youtube video and its title successfully caught my attention, so I decided to watch it. It was a really insightful analysis in which he explained how capitalism is the ultimate cause of environmental issues. I thought this was a topic that should be raised more often, therefore I decided to schedule a interview with a local activist - who is also my friend, to dive deeper into the topic.
As for the technical process, since we used a classroom where there were a lot of echoes, I had to work on the audio file in Adobe Audition to clean the sound.
